1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are between you and [operator’s legal name] (“we”), who runs Lunara — the Discord bot — and this website. By using either, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you add Lunara to a server, you also agree on behalf of that server that its members’ use is covered by them.
2. Who can use Lunara
You must be allowed to use Discord under Discord’s own terms, which set a minimum age of at least 13 (higher in some countries), and you must keep following Discord’s terms and community guidelines while you use Lunara. [Any higher minimum age for the casino games]
3. Virtual currency and items
Coins, gems, shards, tickets and the other currencies, and every card, item, pet and title in Lunara, are part of the game. They have no monetary value, are not your property, cannot be exchanged for real money or anything outside Lunara, and cannot be sold or transferred except through Lunara’s own features (such as trading or gifting to another player). We can change how they work, rebalance them, or reset them where that is needed to fix a mistake or undo abuse.
Gems can be bought with real money through Discord. Once delivered, they are game currency like any other and are covered by this section.
4. The casino games
Lunara’s casino games — coinflip, slots, blackjack, roulette, duels and crash — are played only with coins, a virtual currency with no cash value, and nothing won in them can be cashed out. Each game publishes its house edge. Server administrators can switch the games off or set a daily loss limit for their server.
/gamble pause locks you out of every game, in every server, and out of opening chests on this website, for the period you choose. It cannot be lifted early — by you, by a server admin, or by us — and deleting your data does not lift it.
6. Chests on this website
Chests are earned by completing tasks, such as voting for Lunara or reaching a level, and are never sold. Every task is checked by our servers, not by your browser. Tasks pay Discord accounts at least 14 days old, and some also ask for a level in Lunara or recent play there; each task says what it needs. The chance of everything a chest can contain is published on the chests page.
Days of Lunara Plus from a chest start when it is opened, or when Plus you were already given runs out, and then run without pausing. They run alongside any subscription you have, not after it. When they end, you go back to what your subscription gives, or the free tier, and nothing you made while you had Plus is taken away, such as custom characters in its extra slots — though you cannot make more while you are over the limits of the tier you are back on. Days have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and any not yet used are lost if you delete your account with /data delete.
While you have paused gambling with /gamble pause, chests stay closed until the pause ends; the tasks still count and your chests are kept. Rewards obtained through a bug, an alternate account or automation may be removed.
7. Playing fairly
You agree not to:
- use more than one account to earn rewards, referrals or votes, or let others use yours;
- automate the bot or this website with scripts, self-bots or macros;
- exploit a bug instead of reporting it;
- buy, sell or trade anything from Lunara for real money or outside the game;
- publish custom characters or text that is hateful, sexual, infringing or otherwise against Discord’s rules;
- harass other players through trades, duels, gifts or any other feature.
We can remove content, reverse rewards, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules. A ban in Discord applies on this website too.
8. Things you create
You keep the rights to custom characters and anything else you create, and you give us permission to store and show it in Lunara so the feature works — including to other players when you publish it. You confirm you have the right to anything you upload. Players can report content, and we can remove it.
9. Server administrators
If you manage a server, you are responsible for how Lunara is set up there — which features are on, the currencies and rewards you create, and the limits you set — and for using its admin tools fairly. Editing settings on the dashboard requires the Manage Server permission in Discord, and changes take effect in that server straight away.
A server’s admin tools create, grant and take only that server’s own currencies. Lunara’s own currencies — coins, gems and the rest — are paid only by Lunara’s own rules, and no server can grant or take them.
Installing Lunara is not a way to earn money from it. Every purchase is made through Lunara’s official store and paid to us. Server owners and administrators may not sell, resell or charge for Lunara’s currencies, items, characters, accounts, or access to Lunara’s features, including a server’s own currencies or rewards offered in their place, and may not trade any of them for real money or anything else outside Lunara. Doing so can lead to Lunara being removed from the server and to the accounts involved being suspended.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Lunara running but do not promise it will always be available or free of bugs. We can change, pause or end features, the bot or this website. If we shut Lunara down, we will give as much notice as we reasonably can. [What happens to active subscriptions, and to days of Lunara Plus not yet used, if the service ends]
11. Liability
Lunara is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for the loss of virtual items or currency, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for premium in the [period] before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law. [Governing law and courts]
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Lunara at any time, and /data delete erases your account. We can end your access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as virtual items having no cash value, and liability — continue to apply.
13. Changes to these terms
